WEST LANCS GUNDOGS LOCATION A/V Spaniels, A/V Retrievers & A/V HPR's, Advanced & Working Groups are now situated on the A59 Ormskirk to Rufford road, on Causway Lane, a continuation of Moss Lane. Directions from Ormskirk - Follow the A59 from Ormskirk to Rufford, turn right into the Training Ground hard standing car park opposite the Causeway Nurseries Farm Shop. The turning is just after Nelsons Farm Shop on the right. You will be met by a representative and directed to the training ground on foot. When parking please keep the track clear at all times as this is an access route for Rail Track. Directions from Rufford - Follow the A59 from Rufford to Ormskirk past the Wizard Hand car Wash on the right then turn left into the Training Ground hard standing car park opposite the Causeway Nurseries Farm Shop. If you pass Nelsons Farm Shop on the left you have gone too far. You will be met by a representative and directed to the training ground on foot. When parking please keep the track clear at all times as this is an access route for Rail Track. Puppy Socialisation, Novice Training Class is now situated on the A59 Ormskirk to Rufford road, on Moss Lane. Directions from Ormskirk - Follow the A59 from Ormskirk to Burscough, passing Tesco Store on your left. After Burscough Village, you will see a 50mph sign on your right and left, just before these sign's turn right into the Training Grounds. The right turn is between two tall hedgerows. If you pass through Burscough Village you will have gone to far. You will be met by a representative and directed to the training ground on foot. When parking please keep to designated area's as this is a working farm. Directions from Rufford - Follow the A59 from Rufford to Burscough Village, as soon as you enter the Village you will see a 30mph sign on your left and right, turn left immediatley after the sign's into the Training Grounds. The left turn is between two tall hedgerows. If you pass through Burscough Village and reach the bridge you have gone to far. You will be met by a representative and directed to the training ground on foot. When parking please keep to designated area's as this is a working farm. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES UNLESS TOLD OTHERWISE. Once you have arrived you will see other handlers/members preparing for training. Everyone will make you welcome on arrival. The training ground is a short walk from the parking area. If you cannot attend training for what ever reason please contact Nick, simply out of courtesy on the day of training. Training is currently on Sunday from 11:00 - 12:00 then 12:30 at Causeway Lane through to 15:30hrs for various groups such as A/V Spaniels, A/V Retrievers & A/V HPR's. Wednesday 10th September will be the last evening training session of this season, other than 121's, we then return to Sunday's only for all training. When attending any of the training grounds please be punctual and wear the correct clothing as all training is done out doors and we sometimes are a distance from any vehicles, it is advisable to have in your vehicle at all times wet weather gear. Please remember to carry pooh bags also, it is your responsibility to clean up after your dog, remember you are guest's on this land. If "one to one" training has been booked, a minimum of a days notice is required to cancel or you may have to pay a cancellation fee £10.00 |
